Getting Ready for Hurricane Season
When it comes to hurricanes, preparation is everything—because Mother Nature doesn’t RSVP.
Last month, we hosted a hurricane preparedness workshop led by Keith Harned. The session covered critical topics like storm preparation, debris removal, FEMA reimbursement, and safety best practices. A big thank you to Henry Mayer and Miami-Dade Urban Horticulture for partnering with us and to all attendees who came eager to learn.
In addition, SFM attended the Eye of the Storm Hurricane Preparedness Event, collaborating with FIU’s International Hurricane Research Center and the Florida Division of Emergency Management. We also held several preparation meetings with clients, reinforcing our commitment to keeping communities safe and operational during storm season.
