Last month, the BSCNZ and KÄRCHER, the manufacturers of professional-grade cleaning equipment, organized the first ever Thank Your Cleaner Day. We love the idea!
Granted we might be a little biased, but we certainly feel like the janitorial industry is one of the most important in the world. Every day these hard-working people are inside our offices, and sometimes our homes, wiping down counters, emptying trashcans, vacuuming our floors, and doing whatever else they need to do to ensure our space is pristine the minute we walk in. In the U.S. alone, as many as 3.5 million people work day, night and weekends to keep our working and living environment germ and clutter-free!
We’re thrilled these industrious individuals are getting their day in the spotlight, and being recognized for the hard work they do, often out of sight and after normal working hours.
Truthfully, though, you don’t have to wait until next year to show your appreciation. As you go about your day today, take the time to acknowledge your cleaner and every cleaner you come across. Without them, we would live in a much more chaotic and unsanitary world.
