Relying on volunteers or inexperienced personnel to handle security at events such as music festivals and sporting events can have catastrophic consequences. A lack of proper training can result in poor decision-making, ineffective communication, and an inability to handle emergencies.

Experienced security personnel are better equipped to manage crowds, identify potential risks and hazards, and take quick and appropriate action when necessary. They have the training and expertise to prevent security breaches, handle difficult situations, and ensure everyone’s safety.

But, having a well-trained security team is not enough. Ongoing training is critical, even for seasoned security personnel. Security threats and risks constantly evolve, and learning about new technologies, tactics, and techniques helps security teams stay current and ahead of potential threats.

SFM Security Officer Kevin Garcia is a reminder we can all be kinder to one another. Recently while Kevin was on shift he literally took his shoes off and gave them to a barefoot homeless man. Kevin is also attending the Police Academy. We’re confident Kevin will be an asset to any police department he joins. Thank you, Kevin!

At SFM Security, we understand the importance of regular training for our security team. Our ongoing training programs help us develop new skills, update our knowledge, refine our techniques, and improve our performance, ensuring we provide the best possible security for all events. By relying on a professional security team that values ongoing training, you can rest assured that we’ll manage your event safely and effectively.
